One of my best friends, Shane, is totally engrossed in Naruto anime. He went to the Anime Festival in Tokyo. with his mom while she was on sabbatical. He’s been telling me all about the Naruto anime series and even showed me some of his manga books!
Shane told me that the Naruto anime series is almost as popular as the Dragonball series in Japan. I found that hard to believe, but then I looked at the manga books. I went home and did some research on my own about the Naruto anime series so that I wouldn’t look so stupid to Shane.
Mostly I wanted to focus on the basic story outline and the Naruto anime series characters. I thought I could keep up with a Naruto anime series conversation. I used the Wikipedia for my Naruto anime series education.
There are five main characters in the Naruto anime series. They are Naruto Uzumaki, Sasuke Uchiha, Sakura Haruno, Kakashi Hatake and Sai. It took me a while to remember the Naruto anime series main characters names. I didn tell Shane that I was learning about the Naruto anime series because I didn want his help.
Shane said that his favorite character in the Naruto anime series was Sakura Haruno, so I learned about her. In the beginning of the Naruto anime series, Sakura is a student of Kakashi Hatake’s. Her main strengths are her intelligence and her great chakra control.
It would be just like Shane to have the smart girl be his favorite character in the Naruto anime series! Shane also always likes the good guys in a story, and Sakura Haruno is definitely one of the good guys. I usually like the villains in manga books.
After I read about all of the main Naruto anime series characters, I read about the villains. I read about the crime organization called Akatsuki in the Naruto anime series and was hooked. These are great bad guys!
I haven’t read up on all of the Naruto anime series characters because there are so many. I do feel like I can keep up with Shane, now, because I’ve learned the basic story and things about all the key players, especially the key villains!
